reverse light trouble

reverse light trouble

when i bought my n/a this past summer it had some trouble. i fixed a lot of them but one that im dreading is wiring. my reverse lights worked when i first got the car and now they don't work at all. what should i do?

check the plug on the front of the transmission on the driver side. make sure the plugs didn't come off.

You may wish to use the search function found in the upper right hand corner of this page.

It has been covered quite a few times, but generally it is the switch has been left unplugged from a careless mechanic doing a clutch or tranny work, or that the switch has interally built up varnish and bad contacts.

The failure of the switch is common on the FC, FD and Miata.
