One minute of searching led me to plenty of posts saying Godspeed is crap. Typically any coilover that is that cheap is going to be crap. You get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for... Let us now how they handle for you. There are not enough REAL reviews about them. Only opinions floating around, from what I've seen. You might as well post some pictures along with your review.

Drifting, by design, involves a lack of performance. The nice thing about drifting is that even the most worthless crap still has some use. Just keep in mind that an endorsement from drifters doesn't mean much because you can drift with just about anything.

A Yugo is cheap too. For a couple hundred extra dollars you could have bought an excellent Ground Control setup with competition-grade Koni dampers and Eibach springs. However, it sounds like you don't have a lot of experience or money, in which case the cheap Chinese stuff should work just fine.

Yes, just as long as you know that it is cheap Chinese crap you will be OK. Unfortunately there are people who think that Godspeed is top quality, and sometimes I worry about these people, lol.

But everyone must understand every company out there started as "Cheap Unknown" brand. From what i see Godspeed has been around for quite some time now. Their products and quality has gone up. Yeah... They're not comparable with top notch companies out there. But hey this guy sounds like hes an entry level drifter... and Drifters are guys that start with a crap car and eventually builds a decent race car. IMO Godspeed is a pretty best bang for buck deal IF you got hookup deal for it.

Here's a short review. I did the install on a friend's car.

The install was easy, however they do NOT have tabs for the brake lines up front, the lines should be ziptied to the shock body.

My friend absolutely loves them, and brags that any Harley Davidson shop can rebuild them. I sat in the car for a short test drive on a less than perfect road. They were fine on the street, and surprisingly smooth, ON THE HARDEST setting.

Absolutely worth the 600 bucks, for adjustable ride height and stock-like handling.

^ although I probably won't ever run these, I like the fact that you are stating first hand experience. As opposed to everyone else opening their mouths without ever touching them.
