reubiuld vs price ?

Just wondering. My engine has 28k miles on it but detonated and blew apex seals.

The car has 0 compression but DOES NOT SMOKE sooo I wont have to worry about water and oil sealz right ? Because i just want basic basic rebuild considering my rotor housing are still good.

Thnx for the help

your oil and water seals should be good, but if you're pulling it apart you might as well replace them. You'll be kicking yourself real hard later if your water/oil seals go.

lol

I dont think you understand.

anytime you take the rotary apart, the water seals stretch/expand/tear. 99% of the time theyre a non-reuseable part. at a little over $140 for the basic gasket/o-ring kit, why skimp on this required part when trying to reuse it might mean a bad engine on startup...

oil seals, can be reused. they only cost about 70 bucks new..

you blew apex seals, your rotor and housing are toast on that half of the motor; plan on finding replacements.
