Resetting my ECU

Whats crackin' everybody
what benefits will I get by resetting my ECU?
And how would I reset it. From what I have read
you can get better gas millage and squeeze out
a few more horses. let me know what you guys
think. Much appriciated Later Matt22

If it has never been reset since you have done mods then it may help a very lil. Just disconnect the battery and hold down the brake pedal for a minute. The car may actually run worse for awhile untill it adjusts to your new set-up. I wouldn't expect anything noticable; maybe 1-2 MPG increase.

Uh, resetting is only necessary for 89-92 (S5) vehicles, because the 86-88 ECU is too dumb to remember anything imho.
