Replacing rear subframe w/o dropping diff.

I snapped my rear subframe and got a great new replacement this evening. I have all the nuts and bolts loosened and ready to do the swap, but I'm wary of removing the jack from the diff. because the frame rails on this FC have been moshed to hell and back so they're very untrustworthy (doing a chassis swap is on my winter to-do list this year.)

Look at the new subframe I can see that it looks like one could pop the nuts on the mount then slide it off, but the only problem is getting to those buggers. Going in from the front is definatly out of the question, but it looks like I can get them from the rear if I pull the lateral links off and do some knuckle scraping.

I'd really like to avoid pulling the diff. if I don't need to, and it looks like the only reason I'd need to is those two mounting nuts.

Has anyone pulled the rear subframe on it's own?

i think the only way to remove the subframe and leave the diff on the car is to support the car from somewhere else. i could not find a way to get to the two mount nuts without lowering the whole assembly about 8 inches or so away from that cavity it rests in, there's just no room. i don't know for sure though, maybe i just wasn't being creative enough.
