Replacing Rack and pinion how difficult is this?

I was wondering. I found the replacement parts for the rack and pinion because the seals are worn and leaking. Just how hard is it to replace this part on the gen2 RX7?

P/S or manual?
I just recently replaced the PS rack, it was not real hard, will require removing the radiator (or at least unbolting), removing antisway bar, and good luck with the PS hoses attached to the rack
They are a pain to get to

Are you referring to the rubber bellows that go from the body of the R&P to the tie rod? If so, than they are not that difficult to replace. You need to remove the outer tie rod end so that you can slide the old boot off and the new one on. The factory replcement boots come with wires to seal the ends. Do not overtighten these wires or you will break them.

If you were referring to something other than the bellows, than you may need to remove the R&P from the car. I've done this before, and it is a big PITA.
