Question Replacing all Vaccum lines?

Id like to this summer replace all my lines with silicone hoses and i was wondering how much of a pain this is to do? I noticed a local rotary guy chargers 400 for parts and labor. Is that worth it, or should i porject on doing it myself?

This can be a good DIY project.
What makes it expensive is breaking the fragile plastic solenoid nipples.
My favorite tool for this is bent tip long nose pliers.
The bent tip allows you to pull those really stiff old hoses with NO sideways force on the solenoids.
The other trick is to first cut the hose about 1" from the end, then pull off the end.
The silicone tube is softer than rubber, so you need to zip-tie any line that sees boost.
Also don't overlook the orifice pill in the boost sensor line.

Watch out for the lines that contain those "pills" inside of them (Wastegate actuator, boost sensor)

It's a plug in the line with a tiny hole to bleed air slowly.

Like a shock damper for air lines.
