Replacement condenser box?

Through a stroke of misfortune, the condenser box the bolts under the clutch slave cylinder was missing from my parts car and I discovered the one in my main car is hanging on by only a few remaining strands of the wire. Neither of the parts fiche files I have for the '88 includes the wiring harness section that it attaches to and I haven't had any luck finding it on Mazdatrix. It looks like a fairly standard electrical part- is there any chance it could be found elsewhere (like Radio Shack, etc.), or do I pretty much need to either see if anyone here has a spare or get a new one from the dealer?

What exactly does it do anyway, and is it really necessary?

It is the ground wire for the oil pressure gauge. The condenser box pretty much smooths out the oil pressure signal so the needle doesn't jump around on the guage from my understanding. Mine has broken and now I no longer have an oil pressure gauge which scares me. I would like to have an oil pressure gauge very much but I think you can only get it from a junk yard. :/

It's wired to the oil pressure sending unit...that's all I know.
I can't find the one on my new (first and only) NA either...apparently they tend to migrate around as various mechanics have worked on the car (if it doesn't disappear altogether).
I'm going with aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauges anyway so I'm not terribly concerned about that condenser although I'll search for it when I replace my clutch hydraulics.
