Replaced steering knuckle, griding on that side when turning. :(

I finally received my new steering knuckle and installed it last night. It went in nice and easy, no problems and my suspension on that side is finally all within spec.

The only problem I noticed today is that it makes a low grinding noise when you turn at low speeds and it seems worse on left turns (this is the passenger side knuckle I replaced).

My garage is full, so I can't pull everything apart here, but I did check the wheel bearings before installing everything again, and made sure all the parts were clean and I used good wheel grease (and lots of it). When I put the wheel back on I did pull it back and forth to check for play and it was not present, and the wheel spun freely (the wheels were facing straight forward).

The only thing I can think of is the brakes are stuck a little because I didn't fully retract the caliper before swinging it down. It went on by itself with no problem. Could it be the brake shield somehow?

I can't really lift the car right now because I have a dead Civic in my garage and can't jack in the driveway because it's a big puddle and not even enough.

I took it out again for a wash and made the following observations:

- Vehicle does not pull to any side when braking, brakes are strong
- Right turns cause lesser grinding but only occasionally
- Grinding does not occur when going through a faster corner, or when turning from a stop (so acceleration is playing some role here). Only seems to occur during low speed parking lot manuevers.
- Grinding does not occur on the freeway when taking long banking corners, or city streets that angle but you do not have to really brake for.
- Grinding definatly sounds alot like a hub brake when it's really low on pad.
- Vehicle doesn't roll as freely when the grinding is occuring

The wheel still feels very tight, but I can't pull it yet because of that stupid Civic.

I'm pretty sure I seated the outter bearing correctly (inner one was never pressed out). I tightened the nut a decent amount, rolled the hub 5 times, then brought it to the point I could turn it by hand and gradually tightened it until the hub didn't have any play but rolled relativly freely. I don't have a pull scale or a torque wrench so I used the driver's side for reference.
