Replace your pulsation dampener!!!
Just FYI.. I believe 10 years / 100k miles is not soon enough. My 90 S5 TII went up in flames a couple years ago (before I got it). Luckily the fire did not spread too far but appeared to start at the PD. My TII only has 50,000 miles on it..

Two other things...
1. Your post shows that S5 PDs flame too. I wish more people would realize that and act accordingly. I hear of too many S4 owners claiming they are safe from the hazard of a PD failure because they found a S5 PD in a junk yard and put it on. Thank you for posting that.
2. A couple years ago and the car would have been approaching or past the 10 year replacement suggestion as it is 14 model years old right now, 4 years after I recommend.
Every 10 years old, 20 years old (from production date on the car) replace it even if there is only 30K miles on the car.
Every 100K miles, 200K miles, 300K miles etc, replace it even if the car is only 5 years old.
