I removed my top on my 90 vert. Taking it off is easy. Putting a new one on should be done by a shop. If your planning on putting the same top back on i would use a shop. Its easy to mess up the old top around the back window. Everything just bolts off but the back window you have to pry it out around the window.

Umm, I have removed two tops now without having to touch the rear window. I f you are removing it and re-using it just unbolt and unclip it, take it off in one big peice. It is very simple, DO NOT PAY SOMEONE TO DO THIS FOR YOU.

Search under "Vert top replacement" or similar in the SEARCH page and I have a post as well as several others with the removal process..
