This is what I did:

Remove the stock oil lines that run out of the front cover to the top of the rotor housings. There are 4 lines.

Tighten down the 4 little banjo bolts on the front cover re-using the copper crush washers (but now without the lines attached).

Buy some bolts that will fit where the oil lines would've fed into the top of the rotor housings (2 in each housing) . Make sure that they're stubby enough that they won't push down the 'springy thing' in the injection holes (I had to shorten mine with a hack saw). Tighten down re-using all of the old copper crush washers to maintain a good seal.

I don't know if this way is recommended, but it blocks everything that needs to be blocked... so... Anyways, I've had no problems thus far on my rebuild.

I now premix my gas with 2 cycle oil available at most gas stations.

I wouldn't bother disableing the stock oil system if it's working fine. The only reason why I did this and now run premix, is because one of my friend's broke one of my stock oil injection lines when I was pulling the motor apart and I was too broke to fix it, lol.
