Angry removing my s5 flywheel

No matter what I do I can't stop the flywheel from spinning when I try to remove the center bolt.

What can I do to get it to stop?

They make tools for that. Go to www.Mazdatrix.com and go down to the "Special Tools" category. They sell a flywheel stopper. makes it a lot easier.

try mazda's ring gear brake (part # 49 F011 101)...it bolts to the motor and locks the flywheel in place. Even if you can get it off without it, you'll never come close to the right torque with out it.
