ive had this lambo kit on my doors for about 4 years the passenger door works great , but the driver door has been a pain since day 1, i was wondering when taking off the hinges do i need to take off the fender to put the orignal hinges back on. from what i can make of the lambo hiinges they look like the will slide rite out. just want somebodys opinion thats work on rx7 doors. thanks

 

Depends on the kit. The good ones bolt underneath the fender due to the massive leverage of the door. The crappy ones just bolt in place of the stock hinges.

 

But really, I don't think the fender's all that hard to remove...Just a few bolts along the top along the hood, and around it, and that's it, no?

No, the fender is foward of the door, quarter panel is rear of the door.

thanks for the info , but the fenders did not have to come off, my bigest thing was the pistion hold up the door. i had to muscle the hinge down after the door was off. that was a real bitch being that it hold 650 lbs of preasure. once the hindge was in the down postionit slid rite out. and fyi for you guys my cars a vert so the inside panel of the inner fender had to be frabrocated and cut to a flat surface for the hinges to fit .verts are way different in structure verses the coupes. anyways all worked out good. thanks
