Removing front bumper

IN Removing front bumper

I just got a body kit and i am trying to get the front bumper off. Does anyone have any tricks or anything to help me out. i am stuck trying to get the bolts in the fender to bumper section.

Pull back the fender liner, use a very long extension. There's really no trick, it's just hard as hell.

+1, you will probably just have to snap them off as they are usually very rusty

Thanks for quick responses. I have been out there trying to take off the fenders and that is a pain. i am going to go and attack it with about 3 feet of extensions. Cant wait to post pics of the new car.

A couple bolts need to be done with a long extension from the wheel well. Or you can spend an hour doing 1/16th turns with a hand wrench. A couple more bolts need to be removed from the bumper side. On the fender side there are only welded studs for these 2 bolts to screw into. If you wrench on the studs you won't get anywhere, heh.
