Do you have an S4 for S5? What parts of it do you want to remove? Levers? Control unit? Just disable it? Also, why do you want to remove it?

I have an s4 t2. I want to remove all of it because I don't need it. the control on the dash has been long gone, but its time to remove the rest of it.

I use it as a handy way to work the throttle from under the hood.

Just pull the stuff associated with it. The big vacuum plunger thing, the cable attached to the TB, etc.. You could probably search the forums, this one and the others, and find a post regarding exactly what is involved.

removing the cruise control won't stop me from being able to pull the throttle cable on the throttle body.

for the time being. that still doesn't negate the fact that I need help in removing the cruise control components.

You already know to pull the actuator.
The control box is under the dash.

where under the dash? any pics or diagrams. there's lots of crap under the dash.

I appreciate people trying to look out for me and my car and my plans for it. I just want to know what components are part of the cruise control. I don't plan to remove it right away. I just want to know when I do remove it(fairly soon), what I need to remove.

cruise control

I looked it up in the FSM, "body & electrical section".
Clipped page 175 & pasted it into a photo editor.
Trim & resize.
