removed emissions so now .....

i have a question. i did what some of you said and that is put a small hole in the big hose on the air pump. then took the small hose from the nipple going to the back main cat and bough some connectros and put it together.

so now i have a few questions.

the main one is ones i removed the long big metal pipe going to the cat, what do i do with the hose hanging there? do i just leave it or plug it up with something i hope you all know what i mena im talking about the big black hose that has the metal fitting in it . well did.

next , why have two valves that you can adjust? im not sure but i followed the directions provided. its not up and ready to run yet till i get these few ? ansered.

plese help.

also let me tell you for those who want to try and make their own exhaust. shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit long *** work and patience needed to keep going back and back . i have the main stuff done just need to add hanger s and then it s done .

oh incase you neeeded huh , i have a 87 N/A automatic.

removed 2 our of the 3 cats. removed the big *** heavy one and one small one. i left the one in the downpipe.

plese help anyone .
thanks again.

If your air pump is there, you didnt quite remove all your emissions.

u can do an electronic 6 port/vdi actuation, with a motor out of a 12 volt air compressor, and a power relay, my motor kicks on at 3500 RPMs, so it doesnt run all the time but it opens my 5th/6th ports...

so you just leave the big black hose vente to the atmosphere is that what you are saying?

talking about the big hose that is in the back of the block that had the small metal tube going into it from the main cat. this hose also had the small hose attached to it which we use to tap into the air pump hose.

hope someone can help. if you need more info please let me know .
