I have a S5 keg with S4 electronics and an S5 lower intake manifold with an S4 upper intake manifold.

I am wondering if I can / should just remove the 5th and 6th ports or should I wire them in place.

There is NO WAY I am getting them to function again. It is not worth it. The car is a race car and never sees less than about 3200 rpm.

I would guess that you would want to just wire them open. Sounds like you won't be too worried about the low end torque you will loose with them not working.

 

Either way works fine for your purpose but I would recommend getting the inserts to help with flow. You will not notice a difference between removing them or having them open at all times, I have heard good things about the inserts though.

is that blue hose the one thats supposed to connect to the cat? does anyone have a diagram of how the 5th and 6th port actuators are supposed to work?
