sounds like you taling about the secondaries

ive heard of that mod but i havent read enuff aboutem to know how or what good it does more air flow i guess...anybody ?

The secondaries are there to smoothen airflow when you get on the throttle, removing them gives you a little better throttle response, but not as smooth of a throttle transition. www.k2rd.com has a writeup on this mod.
