Removal Thread

Well, all these new people have me second guessing what all I can take off, or what all is a good idea to take off while my poor 13B is in peices.

The TB Mod is obvious.

The Airpump is only a good idea to take off if you find a new way to actuate the 6th ports and VDI ( Electronic VDI/6th port project on the way, once I get headers ).

I was under the impression that removing the EGR toasted the Cat's... maybe that's something else.

The OMP can be taken off if you want to run pre-mix, but it's better to do both ( Less pre-mix w/ OMP still running )

What else is there, and what are the effects of everything. I know this has been gone over many times, and searches yeild too many results. If you happen to know the threads where this is discussed, Post them. Maybe this will be quality enough to get Archived.

The ACV is what toasts the cats.

The only sensors left on my car are the TPS, air intake temp, water thermo switch, AFM, O2, and boost sensor.

I left my OMP, I have to premix with my FB, and its a pain in the ***.

Yeah, those may be the only sensors, but what about solinoids, vacuums, and other bullsh*t. If you didn't know, my engine is out, and I'm trying to make my car as simple as possible without sacraficing drivability. In short, what all emissions **** can I take off, and what do I plug/re-route whenever I take it off....

If it's told on this thread, then it can be archived ( Instead of tons of "look here" threads ) and then NOONE CAN ASK EVER AGAIN. I'm willing to take pics of what all is coming off as well. There may be a LOT of writeups, but never enough pictures.
