Question Removal of overhead console?

Allright, I searched and found one reference to it but was a no show.

How do I go about removing the overhead light/sunroof switch console without damaging the 15 year old plastic?

The car is an 88 AE TII with sunroof.

I know about the 2 main screws that hold the mirror in but something else seems to be holding it.

Thanks in advance.

Scott

Pull the black piece in the front straight back towards you, and the clear light cover down from the back of it.

Unscrew the four screws circled. When it drops, there will be three plugs to unhook to completely remove the piece.
