Relieve fuel pressure w/Extension Man. removed

Am replacing my pulsation damper and have the extension manifold removed. Fuel system is pressurized to test the injectors wired to their fuel rails.

I'd like to remove the pressure off of the injectors before I remove the wires. Can't follow the std procedure of disconnecting fuel pump and running engine...obviously.

Any suggestions to do this safely?

Thanks.

Are your secondaries still plumbed in? I usually just crack the bolt on the front of the secondary fuel rail with a rag over it.

If your Bat is disconected, you shouldn't have a problem, though. Even if there is a spark, there is no fuel that can burn. It can't burn in the lines --there's no air

Just wrap a rag around the main fuel line coming in from the fuel filter and pull it off. Wrap it good and it should spray the fuel into the rag and not all over the place. Or take out the fuel pump fuse and start it, if you dont want raw gas on your engine, even though it evaporates quickly. Its not as dangerous and scary as some people like to think.
