Walbros got the bad name from the China made knock offs. REAL Walbros are reliable. Bosch, Aeromotive, ect. might be of better quality. But Walbros are far from crap...

for my 450hp set up im using a dual walbro all four 1600cc injectors. upgraded fuel rail and lines and fuel pressure regulator. using e85 of course. only 15psi. and i have yet to have a problem with my walbro or any issues with this fuel setup. soon to be 25psi

i'm running an FD motor with to4s .86 turbo at 15psi, an estimated 400hp (street tuned)
walburo 255, earls fuel filter (35micron), marren FPD, 720 side feed primary, 1680 top feed secondaries and areomotive rising rate 1:1 FPR all -6 SS fuel line.

at a 65% injector duty im using about 190 LPH, the walburo has a rated 255LPH. but when you factor in the pressure:volume loss (38psi base pressure), my fuel pressure falls off at 7300rpm.

i'm going to upgrade to a parallel system. my question is that if i'm using This Aeromotived FPR do both fuel pumps have to be the same, or could i put a stock TII pump for the primaries and the Walburo for the secondaries?

A buddy of mine is running the same set up as me except that is is using the stock FPD and is running water meth, so he considerably leaner then me. this year he's upgrading to the Marren FPD. i hope that gives you an idea.

I only went to SS lines so i could connect everything with AN fittings to be sure i wouldnt have any leaks

however, the age factor is something to think about. not necessarily for dirt and grime but for old fuel turning into varnish and the hoses cracking and leaking.
the Stock feed line is actually 8MM (0.3150 inches) and is very close to 5/16 (0.3125), 3/8 is 0.3750 and -6 hose is 0.394. so -6 line is 79 thousands of and inch different from stock size or slightly more then 5/64 different. not that i'm saying you can't do what your saying, i'm doing it too but theoretically it's not going to hold the same pressure, that is why i'm using 3 hose clamps to hold my -6 to the stock feed line.

2 fuel pump hangers built into 1 duel hanger. bt i'm not sure how i'm going to feed the wires through. i'll have to try damn hard to find some insulated terminals or bolts.

just put in a single Supra pump and be done with it. I used to run 21psi on a T04S (s4 13BT) and race fuel, 40psi base pressure. All I had was a rewired Supra pump with larger gauge wire and no resistor box.

but the supra pump only puts out 10LPH @ 60psi more then the walbro 255. or do you mean the pump was rewired to take 16volts?

nobody answered my previous question though. on a parallel fuel system do both pumps have to have the same output? I still have the stock TII pump, an FD pump and my current walbro, so if the answer is no, i saves me having to buy another pump

I'm holding a reliable 400+ hp. The motor has only cost me 4500$ the fuel system and engine management $2800, kinda helps when you do all the work yourself and fabricate what you can.
