Lightbulb recover my seats

I have a '91 convertible and the seats are showing some wear. I want to have them recovered. Does anyone know where I can get new leather? Kits? Dealers?

Thanks!!!

I purchased some leather seat covers for my GXL from the above web site. (They advertise here too.) You might want to get a catalog from these people too:

Thanks for the reply! I had a British Victoria catalog, but didn't see the seat covers in there. The site you sent is great. Thanks again.

Problem with British Victoria and other companies I have seen is they make reskins for seats for every seat version except the convertible version. Has anyone found someone that does make seat reskins for the ragtop?

lol, great ebay skillz over there! Do a WTB in the parts section. Picked my seats up for $200 + trade of my shitty ones. Seats were near mint.

They are one and the same from leatherseats.com, $629 preforated, $579 non in whatever color you need, they will also 2 tone.

The starting bid is the same as the phone price so why bid?

Just keep an eye out for different ones. I was at an RX-7 meet a couple months ago, and some guy saw my crappy seats. He told me he had a nice set of seats in his basement that he'd sell for $20 a seat, so I got a nice pair of TII seats for $40.

The best reason is they are already made and ready to ship. Normally from what I understand they only make a set of covers after you have placed and order, then you are looking at a few weeks before they are shipped.

Has anyone bought a set of covers from them for the Convertible and how was the fit and trim on the seats? Also, do you know if you ship the seats to them will they do the install for you?

i dont think the install is all that difficult, though i have never done it myself, you should try and email leatherseats.com or where ever you buy them from and see what they say. i dont think it would be all that hard if you took the seats out, its only 4 bolts to take them out and they are a bit tricky to get to but not difficult.

I've swapped seats in my old 88 ragtop, and it's not bad. Reskinning the seats is another matter.
