Recommendations for 17x8 rims.....

What offset am I lookin at to get the proper fitment and look for a wheel this big? 17x8 would look pretty sweet on an FC. Just depends if they fit up front......

+27mm is dead on - I've seen everything from +35mm to +25mm work.

if +40 is correct for a stock 7" wheel, then why would +27 be correct for an even larger wheel? Are we trying to keep it from coming out of the fender well, or to keep it from rubbing on the inside of the fender well and/or suspension components?

Trying not to hit all the suspension components on the inside...
