Exclamation rebuilt rotary from japan?

so i took my 88se to KD rotary in nazereth PA with a seized engine and was told that for 3000 i can get a rebuilt rotary engine from the mazda factpry in japan and new fuel reails etc. the engine comes with a 50,000 mile 10 yr warrenty. do you guys think thats a good deal or should i just go with a t2 swap from the junk yard?

Dave and Skip at KDR are the Shiznit.... !!!

I would't do the junkyard swap.. rotarys that have sat for extended periods of time need rebuilt anyway... three grand for a rebuild with a 50K warranty is nothing to sneaze at my man!!!

I whish i could get a 50K mile warranty from them!!! (warrantys go right out the window when you port the motor, or add boost, or bigger turbos....!!)

50,000 mile and 10yr warr. that is silly, the mazda re-man only have a 1 year 12,000 miles warr. on them

So is he talking about a re-man? What other "mazda factory engine" is there.

There must just be some kind of mix up on the warrenty.

theres fine print, something about it has to be serviced every 1000 miles by a trained rotary tech. and one small detail the engine has to stay in japan lol sorry about that guys.
