Rebuilt my rear end suspension

WOOW am I beat! I almost finished rebuilding some things for the rear end.

My front diff mount was broke, and my rear mounts were'nt much better so all three mounts have been replaced. The rear ones were a MAJOR ball buster trying to get out. No hammer of mine could do the job, so I bought a hydrolic press from Northern Tool: http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...70_47690_47690 It was still a biatch getting the old ones out, and I had to rig the press to get the new mounts in. Not a bad investment.

2 axle boots were ripped open, one a long time ago and one recently. I didnt wanna screw around with rebuilding so I bought a pair of lifetime warantee axles from AutoZone for $100 each.

While the rear end was out I replaced its fluid.

Everything else was mostly alright during reasembly with the exception of major greasy dirty mess under my car from having an exhaust leak for a year, oil leak, and axle grease flung everywhere.

I got her done, and started assessment on the RacingBeat Turbo Back exhaust I'm planning to install. I decided to just tq some nuts and bolts down underneith when OH MY GOD my rear drivers side lateral link was COMPLETELY loose. The outer 17mm nut was MIA. GOod thing the sway bar link kept that one her in place!! OMG that could have been real nasty. ANyways, tomarrow I'm off to buy a 12mm x 1.25 pitch nut, two exhaust hangers, and a 6 pack of the coldest **** they got.

Score/Tally for this project

RX TB back exh: 825
Diff mounts: $180
New CV axles: $200
Hydrolic press: $80
Oils: $30
Various nuts and bolts: $10
Various sockets: $20
Water pump hoses: $100

I stil have on backorder: independant adjustable rear camber links from Mazdatrix. I may cancel this order on account of I'm pretty sure I found the major clunking problem caused by the lateral link. : $225
