yes. thats the entire reason i made this thread.

I ALREADY BOUGHT A SHITTY REMAN, thats why i want to build an engine that will make OVER 80PSI OF COMPRESSION

sorry, i posted in haste. the rx7store advertizes a reman engine with new housings for $2,200 + a core charge http://www.rx7store.net/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=750 .
The experience of rebuilding a roatry woud be invaluable to understanding your car better. But the sinking feeling in your stomach at wasting a $900 rebuild kit if you dont get the ccolant and oil seals seated properly and the apex seal springs in right when setting the rotors would be devastating. At leaste to my fragile college student pocket book.

I had no problems whatsoever fitting the RA combustion orings, they fit perfectly in their grooves with no stretching required & the hylomar held them in place while i assembled the engine.

I did however stack a phone book on them overnight as per the instructions.

Cant comment on the apex seals ability to hold good comp on used housings as the engine has not been started yet.
