hey i have a rx7 s4 car that im restoring at the moment. i pulled the engine out and i have started pulling the engine right now getting ready for a street port and new seals and o-rings. but i recently found a rx7 that was getting parted out and the engine had 100XXX miles on it and was thinking. should i just buy this engine or do the rebuild? he said he wanted 350 for this engine and i was going to do some tests on it. but i also wanted to know what tests i should do.

****! he gave you those links so that YOU could decide whether you want to rebuild or make a new engine. If your project car's engine is not working at the moment then figure out what you need because if you need a rotor housing and you want one brand new, its going to cost you like over 400 dollars but if you buy a used one which is, needless to say, not in prime condition it will cost you under 100. If you ever rebuild an engine always plan on buying at least a pair of housings if not more.

That being said if you are going to buy new anything for your engine its goiing to cost over 350 dollars so you might as well just see what you can get out of that other engine that the guy is trying to sell you. Use the rotary resurrection links and find out before you buy the engine whats wrong with it.

 

Dude, if you can afford it.... new engine!
