buying a t2 is cheaper, buy a non running t2, get it rebuilt and drive as is. 3000 for that mostlikely all said and done.
aaron cake on here will tell you exactly how it is to turbo an na, more money and alot alot of fabrication.
or second option, do a t2 swap in your na chassis, but, you will need/ or people say need the following:
T2 rearend, t2 tranny, t2 ecu,
and with all that said and done,
it would be easiest to buy a t2 donor car, and in that case if you get one, and it's in good condition, just get it rebuilt.
they are all fairly money consuming, but if you want power, i say t2 all the way, quick enough, and with haltech or mega squirt engine management, and a FMIC, and higher cc fule injectors you could make a decent amount of power, would need an upgraded clutch as well.
just things to consider
