Rear wheels lockup???

hi, me n my buddy were trying to get my clutch done...we got the driveshaft out and a few other things done(he did most of the work), but we cant' finish it so im haveing a shop finish it...problem is that when we try to push it out of the driveway the read wheels rolled about a foot then locked up. they lock up at the same point on the rotation every time we try to bush it...i have no clue what is doing this, but i need to fix it within a few days...hopeing it's a quick stupid little thing...anyone know what's up with my car? thanx
