Rear spoiler question-mounting hardware

Well, my 1988 S4 GTU is almost done after nearly four months at the body shop (I'll explain the whole story and post pics when it's done, so no questions on that for now).

Anyway, the original spoiler had to be replaced with another. It's an OEM with the Mazda name on the center underside of the spoiler (whereas the original was on the top center). I think this new spoiler is an S5.

There was a little confusion on the mounting hardware. It had been a long time since I had removed and seen the spoiler. We resolved all but one pair of points. At each corner at the rear of the spoiler are these black plastic "retaining" pieces (for lack of a better description), secured to the spoiler itself by a single philips screw. They are somewhat circular in shape, and appear to accept some kind of keyed fastener.

So, my question is: What kind of fastener attaches at that pair of mouting points to the body?

There are two bolts that go into the top of the spoiler more towards the front of the car. They get little black caps over them. Then there are two that are on the spoiler that attach to the bracket I think you were talking about. Then two between them that are attached to nuts. I believe the two front ones are just nut and bolt and hold the spoiler to the body. That help any?

Thanks, this information helps, but I don't think I was very clear.

ALL but ONE pair of mouting points are sorted out. The ones that are covered by caps, the pair of center pedistals, and the pair of studs are CLEAR.

What is NOT clear is ONE pair of points that are at the BOTTOM REAR corners of the rear spoiler. They are black plastic inserts held in place by a single philips screw. They appear to be keyed and DO NOT appear to accept a stud or bolt (I could be wrong). I think that some kind of keyed piece is supposed to lock into place at that pair of mouting points.

Thank you for the pointing out the need to seal those mounting points. I will be sure to pass that onto the body shop.

Ok, I just checked the 89-91 FSM Body section, the 86-88 FSM, and the Factory Parts Catalog. It seems that the pair of mount points I'm talking about aren't mounting points (though that's not right). What I'll do is take pics of the spoiler and also go through the parts and sort them out.
