Rear Spoiler Cracks

So I'm looking at a S5 spoiler that I'm going to have to paint anyways. It has a few cracks where it bolts to the car on the drivers side (farthest to this side). Though the cracks are a pretty decent size, it's in one piece and they are on the sides where it wouldn't be super visable. How hard is it to repair a spoiler like this? Has anyone tried? Can I just apoxi the crap out of the cracks and have it stick together or is it not so easy?

If I were going to spend the money to paint it I would find one without the cracks.

The spoiler has a foam core, almost like the outer surface is vacuum formed onto to it.

When I recently had my car painted, they said that they even had to bring in special paint that would not attack the surface and cause bubbles.

I'm going to replace mine with a fibergass one, that should be easier to paint I'll post pics when I'm done.

What type of plastic is it made out of? Epoxy won't adhere to polypropylene for very long, which is what the front bumper cover is made out of. I would use c/a or some type of plastic model cement (the kind that dissolves the plastic to bond it).

There are also specific fillers to bond to the material it is... You could take it by a local plastics place and see how much it would cost for them to fix it, or if they have some filler you can use.
