rear spoiler is coming lose

rear spoiler is coming lose

My oem spoiler came lose after someone parked to close to my car and push my spoiler up, so now it is lose. It dont seem like the bolt for the spoiler is lose either.

where is it loose? just at he two center pedestals on the rear?......more than likely.......

Probably the bolts that are fused to the plastic have been broke off the plastic, the nuts may be tight inside, but where it attaches to the spoiler is fubar'd

You *might* make some self tappers work, Ive have tried this with one I sold a guy off a parts car, the one bolt broke put we drilled the spoiler and ran a self tapping bolt in there......it holds

But just so you understand - you spoiler is broken, not loose

haha, was there a car attached to that wing in the video? Ummm, if you know who backed into your spoiler, I'd politely ask them to pay to replace the spoiler at a reputable body shop... seriously. If rain and moisture gets into the holes that mount your spoiler, rust can ensue and ruin your hatch. I'd take care of it ASAP.
