Rear seats

FL Rear seats

I am trying to remove the rear seats on my 1988 RX-7, any suggestions? I assumed they were like my 3000GT VR4 and just pretty much pop out, by that don't seem to be the case...

i dont know how to remove them but are you getting rid of them? i might know someone who is interested in buying.

They are bolted in. I think the bolts are accessible where the two seat halves meet. Just check the FSM for removal instructions. Or take a look at the exploded diagrams in the parts catalogues. Both of these are in the FAQ.

My brothers seemed to manage taking one out for me at the junk yard when they saw it. Didnt take long and they dont know anything about rx7s. Shouldnt be that hard.

The bolts are kind of a bitch to find! Just look at the fsm in the body section (if you have a paperback) and its in there.
