rear oil pressure regulator
During my attempt in increase oil pressure with a press,I managed to deform the ridge underneath the threads. Is this ridge a sealing surface? Did I ruin my regulator? I managed to ruin the ridge by placing a wrench on the ridge while pressing, the wrench left an imprint of its shape on the part next to the threads. Use it or scrap it?

As long as it will thread into the iron and tighten down normally, then it is fine to use. If the threads are jacked up and won't thread into the iron, you will either have to find whatever size tap fits it and chase the threads, try to repair the threads with a file, or replace the regulator.
