I have an 86 base model RX-7. I just need to know if all NA rear ends interchangeable without modifications, except to the driveshaft. Also, are any of them limited slip? Thanx, Josh. gocelica@hotmail.com

 

Series 4 GXLs have LSD, so do some other, some say Autos do., I think the only thing you can't use on an auto rear end is the driveshaft.
Some sports came with it, most of the times when it had sunroof option, and the S4 GTU had LSD

 

If i took a a rear end from a GXL or a GTU, would i need to take the driveaxles also? Would i have to convert to 5 bolt pattern? I want to keep my 4 bolt.
