Rear end is very loose!

Well,

Recently I replaced the rear shocks with KYB agx's (for my 86 NA), thinking that my handling problems would be over. Then, when I took it out while the roads were wet and cold, I started to slide into the other lane. Turns out my passenger-side rear caliper e-brake cable stuck solid. I've unhooked the cable on that side as I can't free the cable. Nonetheless, it seems I'm still swaying on speeds upwards of 100 kms (60mph) and feels scary to drive in corners or over bumps at that speed.

I've aquired RB rear-toe eliminator bushings, but before I install them I'd really like to know if there is anything else I should consider. Other rubber bushings in the rear? If so which ones? Anything else?

Also, although I have new shocks, no new springs yet. Could this contribute to the problem?

Thanks for any help!

bad toe bushings/loose toe adjustment bolts will cause the rear end to sway back and forth. Get an alignment done on the rear and they will tell you right away if something is broken because it won't align or will be so far out the rack won't even read it.
