I had the squirmy jumpy rear on my '87 sport, shocks felt fine, acted normal, etc, thought it was the toe, but from what I read, toe usually causes the rear-end to sway back and forth, and the bad shock will make it feel like the rear-end is jumping sideways on you. Anyway, my passanger side shock was dead, causing my problem.
well, i feel liek an idiot... turn out the squiming hard to control thing was jsut bad tires in the front... i moved the bad tires to the back it it feels much much better... so i shoudl have tried that right away... oh well... new shocks can't hurt can they? i'll be putting them on tomorrow... it's still kinda crazy over bumps so probbaly need them anyways... i'll post what i find out
here's a pic of what the bad tires look like...
i need t repalce them i bought the car running on the donut so i bought two new tires before it would make the long drive home... and i had them put on the rear... bad idea i guess...

well i installed my new shocks tonight.. glad i bought them.. both rear shocks were bad, one was really bad it can be fully depressed easily by hand and it doesn't re-extend by itself... this took care of the squirming on bumpy roads...
i'm getting new tires saturday, and i'll have my alignment checked since, as you said, too much camber..
but feels much better now! thanks for all your help!
