I have an 86 Mazda Rx7, with the turbo2 big brake upgrade already completed on the car. Question I have is I just got super lucky and picked up a turbo 2 differential with the axles from a local wrecker yard. But I was told that my stock 4 bolt hub will not take the axle? Is this true? The axle nuts for both axles are the same size, is the inside different? I can't see any difference in axles between the GXL 5 bolt and the 4 bolt because it was the same diff (for the ones that came without LSD) so if those axles are the same, should the hubs be the same. I'm swapping in a carb'd 302 and trying to get the project on the road so any help would be great!

 

I used the 4 bolt hubs with a Turbo 2 diff and and half shafts for 2 years. It will be fine!
