Okay guys, I need a little help.
I have searched on rear end instability/unpredictability and I think my situation is somewhat unique. I've got an 87 n/a and recently, my rear end starts to slip-out. This difference here is that It'll go out at about at even a low 60 kms (about 38 mph) sometimes. Of course, it is winter outside, but I drove all last year no problem. A few months ago while roads were perfect condition, I could take the car up to 150 kms on twisties with no problem. It's freaking me out a little as I'll be driving at a steady speed and all of a sudden the rear end will begin to slip out, so I have to reduce throttle to stop it. I know it isn't normal because all manner of vehicles will blast by me, rear wheel drive cars included. I do have some weight in the back to help traction. Again, this only happens in the cold. Oh and also, I'm pretty sure my shocks are good as the rear end won't bouce if I push on it.
Any ideas what might be happening? I think that somehow my car may toe out and then get stuck, maybe? Is that even possible? Thanks for any help.

You could be having the same problem that I’m having you need new rear calipers. Mine are ceasing up so they cause one wheel to get more power then the other so its sitting until my mechanic gets the new ones in.
my one caliper is seizing up and i have the same problem, i was going up hill that dips then goes up once more and i for some reason almost lost traction at the top and i was only doing 70km/hr, so this explains it....
