Angry rear end/driveline clunk

after a dismal night at the strip, my car is clunking. If i put it in gear and let out the clutch at normal speed it makes a thud noise. if i let the clutch out real easy(super slow) it doesnt do it.
I put the car up, and rocked it back and forth. the diff. was visably moving. is it my mounts or something else?

Front differential mount. Mine did that the second time I went to the track. It was hard to see where it was broken unless looking at the mount while rocking the diff or using a long screwdriver to pry on the mount.

The mazda dealer changed mine in about 15 minutes without removing anything.

I paid $238 total. The part was about $130. I think Mazdatrix sells it for less.

Any shop or you can change that thing. The mechanic used a swivel thing on a rachet. He had a hard time finding the right way in and the right combination of extention(s) but, he did it. It was on a rack though. It might be harder if you lay on the ground to do it.

Be sure that's actually the problem. It should be but, there are other bushings back there also. I crawled under and could barely see that the rubber was broken away from the metal. I pried on it and saw the rubber move away from the metal.
