Rear End + Axles

for all the FC gods out there i was just wondering as to how much Horsepower a stock 1988 GX Differential and Axles can handle up to. If someone could give me a rough estimate im debating if i should do a 5 bolt swap or not.. Thanks

250ishlbs of torque seems to be the norm, some more, some less .

If you have a GXL, it should be a 5 bolt hub already :o!

The GX is the base model in Canada, Correct? All the NA's have the same diff, ring and pinion (strength wise). The only difference is lsd or non-lsd. The 5 lug hubs will take more abuse than the 4 lug, but those are usually the last to fail.
