were GTU models the only fc's that had different rear ends than the rest? and what were the ratios of the gtu and other fc models?

 

What series? The S4 GTU (rather rare), had an NA clutch LSD. And the S5 GTU, was/is a POS base model and doesn't have LSD.

And other models do have LSD, but all the NA's have a smaller diameter differential than the TII's/FD's, there is a 1 inch difference in size.So no they were not the only one's that were different.

 

its 87, 4 lug, no rear compartments, no sunroof, everything manual....any ideas?

 

It's an SE (base model), it has an open diff.

Aside from convertibles and the GTU-s, all autos are supposed to have a 3.9, and all 5 speeds a 4.1. All models came standard (except turbo,GTU-s and 86-88 GXL) with open diffs.
