Does any company make a dual piston reat fixed caliper for the fc's ? The current floating rear with integrated parking brake works fine but I want more, and have been searching but havent found anything to date !

I'm trying to figure out why?

If you put a dual caliper brake in the rear, Your rear tires will be locking up every time you hit the brake. There is no weight back there. Then there is the issue of the transfer of weight when braking. 70% of your stopping power has to be in the front.

Either your stock brake system has a failure of some sort, or you need driving lessons. What kind of pads and fluid do you have now, and what kind of track racing are you doing?

Corksport makes a rear brake "upgrade" kit that retains the stock caliper on a larger rotor.
Seems like the easiest rear brake mod since the ebrake remains functional while the braking improves.

On the track with my FC, using the 4-piston fronts and the matching singles on the rear, I have too *much* rear brake. Most folks run a much less aggressive pad in the rear, as well as an additional proportioning valve in the rear lines to try and compensate.

For street applications with less sticky tires (and thus less weight transfer) the balance is actually quite good. So what makes you feel you need more in the rear?
