rear coupe springs into vert

Question rear coupe springs into vert

so my question is if i can use a coupes springs into my vert
i know that the vert is heavier so i was wondering if it would make a difference if i use coupe springs instead of vert springs

Vert springs are simply stiffer. Actually could be considered an upgrade, but you should use them all around.

If you use any 'coupe' springs, the closest in relation to the verts spring rates are the springs out of the turbo equipped models. Other than that, I recall that the vert spring rates are stiffer than NA's due to the increased weight, the T2's are stiffer than the NA's due to increased power.

If you use the 'not as stiff' regular nonturbo coupe rear springs, yes there is the high probability that the rear will settle much lower than if you used either the turbo or vert rear spring.

That is to say you are currently using 20+ year old springs/struts. Chances are very good that upon installation of any new parts your ride height will actually increase as the old springs can sag quite a bit over the decades.
