What do u mean the rear counter weight doesn't go off ?

you sure you don't mean the flywheel ?

and it took me 5 seconds to get it off, you need to know where to hit though, you don't want to leave a mark and destroy it. and make sure you keep the big nut on while you try to get it off, cuz if it bounces off and it lands on ur foot, then it will be time to call 911

pick up a long bolt to go through the flywheel bolt hole and run it down to the stat gear and then a little more. tap the edges with a mallet and it should pop off. thread the nut on a few turns first or it may become a projectile.

Rotaryevolution that did the trick it came off very easy and the stationary gear did not have damage from using it as the leverage.

I really appricate the responses now i can keep tearing the motor down.

Have a good one
