Rear Counter Weight
How do you removed the sucker with out the tool? I searched and only found two threads with no helpful posts what so ever, I tried prying it off but dont want to risk breaking anything, It slides a few millemeters back with the E shaft

Ok I had the same problem when I did my auto to manual swap.
the easyest way by far is to go to autozone and rent the puller. after u return the tool you get your money back. its under ther loan-a-tool program.
I know you want the answer for without the tool but its gonna cost money and pain to pry that sucker off (ie) break something or break your hand.
im guessing your doing a auto to manual swap? Its really the only reson you would have a rear counter weight on the e-shaft. the manuals have the weight built in to the flywheel. or your using an aftermarket flywheel and fixing something.

better get a puller
if the engine is out of the car you can try to pry that puppy off. Just remember its gonna hurt when you slip and hit something.
the main problem is that thing is on there real good. it sounds like a gun shot when you pop that weight off with a puller. and it takes a while to get it off using a puller. An air chissel could work but i wouldnt.
if the motor is in the car just rent a 3 claw puller it will be by far the easyest in either situation that i talked about.

Remove it the same way that you remove the flywheel, with a sledge. All bullshit aside. Just smack it really well on the outermost edge, alternating from one side to another, and on the 2nd or 3rd good smack it will come loose.

Same thing with a stock flywheel...WAIL at it with a hammer.
Heavier the better, but I've done with with a REGULAR hammer.
Keep the flywheel nut threaded on a little, so it doesn't go flying.
Of course, do NOT hit the e-shaft itself...

Thanks guys, I got it out almost taking out my girlfriend. I had the puller on cranked to capacity, the thing still would not move, so i decided to heat it up with my torch and have my gf hit it with a hammer. Counter weight shot out like a missle almost taking her ankel out, causing me to jump up and setting her hair on fire with the torch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
