Rear Brake Help/Opinion

Well my rear brake is working fine but the mechanical brake doesn't (handbrake). I narrowed it down to the brake caliper part. So i'm trying to decide what i should do, and i came up w/ some possibility but need help deciding and/or finding parts/company.

Solutions:
--New brake calipers - who makes them, where can i buy them and cost.
--Rebuild brake calipers- i found a company that will, i'm guessing, rebuild my brake caliper. Goldine Brakes, i was wondering if anyone know of this company, respectable? And if there's other companies out there that does similiar.
--Rebuild Kit - Buy a rebuild kit, where/who can i buy them? How hard it is to do it myself, i have mechanical experiences just never done brakes before.
--Upgrade to bigger/better brakes - I searched but only found rotor upgrades, and custom made brakes. But i was wondering if there's company or upgrade kits that i missed.
--Get Used brakes - this was my original plan but after some thinking, really don't wanna go this way as i have no idea what used brake can last.

Along w/ those questions, which solution would be best (your opinion).

I would recommend going to an auto parts store and exchanging your core for a rebuilt one, or brand new. Used brakes aren't the best idea.

the E-Brake on the rear caliper is activated by the cable coming from the Handbrake.(actually three cables..one main and two seperate ..one to each side L&R)..sometimes the spring assemblies on the caliper get all Gummed up with Road grime Rust etc..if you can loosen that up,and IF that is the only Problem that is Going on with the Ebrake, then you could save a couple bucks taking a look in that Vicinity of the Brake caliper.Instead of getting a new caliper just because the springs are Crusty..YOU can get Reman brakes at a decent price at any leading Parts store.Try and get Preloaded if you can...Oh last thing..you can get just the caliper or the complete Set,that includes the Brackets, etc,.,depends on what you really need..,Good luck.
