re-attaching side mouldings,whats the best?

re-attaching side mouldings,whats the best?
switching from s4 to s5 side mouldings and I want to know what you guys use,and what works best to attach them??? 3m double sided tape?

Just wondering, but, wouldn't a trim adhesive work better? I also have some molding that needs to be reattached.
